Last Friday, LEADER Éislek looked back on 30 years of involvement in the region. The initiative was not the only one celebrating at the festive evening in Clervaux: the SICLER association of municipalities also celebrated its 40th anniversary, while the Guichet Unique PME looked back on three decades of activity. Among the well-wishers were Minister of Agriculture Martine Hansen, Minister of Culture and Deputy Minister of Tourism Eric Thill and Anne Calteux, representative of the European Commission in Luxembourg.

In a panel discussion, the Minister of Agriculture emphasised the importance of the LEADER initiative and the village development programme for the future of rural areas. Numerous projects that were initiated years ago continue to be successful and are recognised far beyond the region. A good reason to end the evening in a convivial atmosphere with a look ahead to the coming years.
