The transnational LEADER project Slow Trips 3.0 was officially launched with a kick-off meeting in the LEADER regions Zentrum Westen and Wëlle Westen. The project is organised by the Office Régional de Tourisme (ORT) Guttland. A total of seven tourism regions from Luxembourg, Austria, Sweden, Germany and Italy are taking part.

The Guttland region is actively involved in the realisation and further development of slow tourism. Slow Trips 3.0 focuses on sustainable and decelerated travel experiences as an alternative to mass tourism. The focus is on digital innovations, ecological responsibility, cultural participation and long-term and systemic changes in rural tourism.

In addition to workshops and working sessions for the partners, the programme also included several test activities, including a Péckvillchen-course and an introduction to forest bathing.
