The Umbrella project is designed to give non-profit organisations, voluntary initiatives and educational institutions access to LEADER funding. The aim is to support small, creative mini-projects that make a positive social contribution to the region with little bureaucratic effort.
The funding amount can be between 1,000 Eur and max. 4,000 Eur. The local action group of LEADER Éislek (LAG LEADER Éislek) focusses on Culture & Benevolat.
Process:
- During the three-year programme period, there are 2-4 project calls per year, with a maximum investment of 20,000 Eur per year.
- The mini-project must be related to the theme of culture or benevolence and must not last longer than one year.
- The following points should be present when submitting the project:
- Brief project description
- Budget plan
- Timetable and implementation steps
- The LAG LEADER Éislek examines the project and decides on funding.
- If approved, an agreement on objectives and funding conditions is concluded between both parties.
Thematic focus: Culture
Funding is available for mini-projects that strengthen cultural offerings, regional identity, traditions, cultural heritage, art, diversity, education or inclusion in the cultural sector.
The aim is to support artistic and cultural projects that enrich local and regional cultural life.
Thematic focus: Benevolat
Mini-projects can relate to the promotion, appreciation and further development of volunteering. For example, by strengthening association structures, recruiting and training new volunteers, intergenerational exchange or events to promote solidarity. The aim is to make civic engagement visible and strengthen the local community.
