The project aims to harmonize and improve communication between the five LEADER regions and the national LEADER network.
To achieve this objective, a central communication strategy will be developed to increase the visibility of LEADER in rural areas and better inform citizens.
This project lays the foundation for a long-term communication strategy that reaches a wider public and improves cooperation between LEADER regions and their partners.
GOALS:
- Establishment of a national communication network through various channels
- Creating a unified external image of LEADER
- Increase awareness and visibility of LEADER and the projects
- Information about LEADER activities, projects and offers
- Raising awareness of rural issues
- Stronger networking between LEADER regions, project organisers and partners
PLANNED ACTIONS:
- Central personnel office of a communications officer
- Establishment of a central social media presence for the entire LEADER network
- Continuous feeds of the LEADER network’s social media channels with text & images,
- Maintenance of the national LEADER website, maintenance of the regional LEADER websites,
- Publication of an (online) newsletter
- Publication of print media and publications,
- continuous press work (e.g. community newsletters) & maintaining contact with media representatives,
- Organising important national LEADER events,
- Using new communication formats,
- Creation and management of a LEADER archive (texts, photos, etc.)

- Development of a social media concept and exchange with Brain & More
- Stronger media presence (newspapers, radio, television)
- Communication via flyers, newsletters & events
- Advertisement and recruitment of a communications officer
