Common Good – A Basic Idea for a Sustainable Community

The concept of the common good places the welfare of society as a whole above individual interests. It promotes the general benefit, justice and well-being of all members of a community.

The common good idea in focus

As part of our project, the idea of the common good is defined in each region and existing initiatives at the local level are made visible. The aim is to present the progress already made in the areas of the common good and to raise awareness of its importance.

With clear models and targeted measures, we would like to highlight the work of communities, associations and volunteers in order to promote the “good life” in the regions in the long term.

Transnational Exchange – Common Good and Common Good Economy

For the participating regions that show interest in the common good and the common good economy, information material is produced that clearly presents the principles and opportunities of the common good. In addition, events such as information evenings and excursions are organized to promote exchange between the regions.
