Culture inclusive is an inclusive LEADER project of the Mierscher Theatre that brings people with and without disabilities together as audiences, artists and participants and makes accessible culture visible in the region.
Planned actions
- Own stage production Correspondances with artists with and without disabilities
- Accessible guest performance Grusel from Cologne (for blind or visually impaired children aged 8 and over)
- Contributions and initiatives by LEADER partners
- Awareness-raising, workshop and communication measures
Goals
- Strengthen cooperation between LEADER members in the area of inclusion and make it visible
- Bringing artists and people with and without disabilities together
- Promoting the cultural participation of people with disabilities (as visitors & as artists)
- Ensure representativeness and accessibility on and behind the stage
- Offer people with disabilities art-orientated training by professional artists
- Creating framework conditions for better access to further training, the artistic profession and cultural offerings
- Raising awareness and developing an inclusive welcoming culture
