On 4 and 5 December 2024, two representatives from Luxembourg, Françoise Bonert, Head of the Directorate for Rural Development in the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Viticulture, and Anette Peiter, Manager of the LEADER region Mëllerdall, took part in two meetings in Brussels.

On 4 December 2024, the General Assembly of the European LEADER Association for Rural Development (ELARD) During the meeting, a new President was elected who will lead ELARD's activities over the next two years. An important milestone was the admission of Luxembourg as a full member of ELARD.

On 5 December 2024, the third meeting of the EU GAP network, where participants were informed about the latest developments in the implementation of Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) The activities of the CAP Network and the results of the meeting of the subgroup “LEADER and Territorial Development” in March 2024, which is part of the governance of the European CAP Network, were presented.

Participation in both events provided valuable insights into current European agricultural and rural development and strengthened the exchange between European LEADER regions and networks.
