Europe's first transnational LEADER development strategye

Together with its German neighbor LEADER Moselfranken, LEADER Miselerland has developed a common, cross-border development strategy and is consistently implementing it.

And this has been the case since 2014!

The two LEADER areas, which are directly adjacent to each other and are not separated but connected by the Moselle as a border river, in fact form a rural region in the European border triangle between the centres of Luxembourg City and Trier.

One Vision – Four Fields of Action

The current LEADER development strategy for Miselerland & Moselfranken has four fields of action:

• Preserving livelihoods together
• Growing together economically
• Strengthening social cohesion
• Developing the Neighborhood Region Together

The four fields of action are considered equally relevant to one another.

They form the basis for numerous local, regional, interregional and transnational LEADER projects.
