Heritage conservationists are looking at potential sites for new visitor centres

Earlier this month, representatives from the Institut national pour le patrimoine architectural (INPA), together with officials from ORT Guttland, the local authorities and the team from the LEADER Zentrum Westen office, visited three historic buildings that are being considered as potential sites for a digital and interactive visitor centre. The site visit took them to the old post office in Koerich, the Saint Michael's tower in Mersch and the church in Hollenfels.

The meeting took place as part of the project „Seven Castles, a Thousand Stories – Rediscovering the Valley“. The aim of the project is to boost tourism across the entire region and develop it further as an attractive destination for visitors and locals alike.
