As part of the transnational project GWÖ goes Europe – The good life: Common Good (Economy)On 6 and 7 May we had the pleasure of welcoming the German partner region Leipziger Muldenland.

On the first day, the transnational exchange took place in the Wëlle Westen region. After a welcoming and getting-to-know-you session at the LEADER office, the program was packed with visits to sites and projects related to the common good (economy).

So we first went to Mertzig, the first certified GWÖ municipality in LuxembourgThe group was guided through the municipal hall and the community center by Mayor Mike Poiré and thus gained an insight into the community projects and the current LEADER project Café Créatif-De Fuedem deen ice cream The tour then continued to the chapel in Hostert, where the current programme of the A'Musée asbl. Umbrella Project Téistuff at Appollonia, was presented by Sonja Kettmann, the alderwoman of the municipality of Rammerich. The last stop was the supported workshops for people with intellectual disabilities. Op der Schock in Redingen. Here, director Nicole Fisch guided us through the premises and presented innovative projects on the topics of easy language, inclusive tourism and sustainable food processing.

The last item on the day's agenda was the presentation of the Luxembourg indicator system for the added value of LEADER by Ms. Françoise Bonert, from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Viticulture.
