As part of the transnational project "GWÖ goes Europe - The good life: Gemeinwohl(-ökonomie)", the LEADER regions Wëlle Westen and Mëllerdall had the pleasure of welcoming the German partner region Leipziger Muldenland on 6 and 7 May.

After visiting places and projects related to the common good (economy) in the Wëlle Westen LEADER region on the first day of the programme, the second day was spent in the Mëllerdall LEADER region, more precisely in the municipality of Nommern. There, the guests were welcomed by Mayor Sophie Diderrich and given an overview of public welfare initiatives in the municipality. These included the "Télévie 2024" fundraising campaign, the popular "After Work" meetings, the use of the stroll and late night buses and the "Creos Living Lab" project.

The group then visited the "Permaculture around Luusshaff" community garden project in Schrondweiler, where project initiator Gast Reckinger presented the concept. Finally, the group had lunch together at the "Epicerie am Duerf", which is also located in Schrondweiler. During the meal, Gilles Nuss explained the idea behind this village shop with regional products and restaurant.
