Organized by Petra Steinmetz as coordinator for the LEADER cooperation project Exchange across borders 10 climate consultants from the Miselerland and the Merzig-Wadern district came to Merzig (D) for a first joint NoperTrip accompanied by the regional management of LEADER Miselerland, Moselfranken and Land zum Leben Merzig-Wadern.

The first item on the agenda was a tour of an apartment building in Merzig-Hilbringen (DE), in which the ZeroplusZero concept has been implemented since 2024. Dr. Erwin Kohl, who came up with the idea for the concept, and Thomas Grünewald, managing director of NULLplusNULL Baukonzept GmbH, explained the principles and implementation of this innovative energy concept to the participants in the basement of the building and answered the participants' initial questions. In the premises of kohlpharma GmbH in Merzig, the ZEROplusZERO concept was described in even more detail, and climate consultants were also able to learn more about the emission-free heated headquarters of kohlpharma GmbH.

Finally, the group came to the Something from Heaven! Local Restaurant Laux in Merzig-Weiler to discuss their own projects in more detail and to get to know each other better. This NoperTrip was very positively received by all participants for sustainable networking in climate protection and cooperation across borders.
