The members and delegates of the Groupe d'Action Locale LEADER Miselerland met in Betzdorf for their third meeting in 2024.

The Assembly decided to support two innovative LEADER projects:

• The Office Social Commun de Grevenmacher wants to improve the initial language training of refugees through language courses and at the same time ensure childcare for the course participants during the language course. (Budget: €45,500)
• LEADER Miselerland would like to start a transnational project to initiate cooperation with three LEADER regions from Germany and Austria on the topic of “promoting volunteer work in clubs”. (Budget: €5,000)

Furthermore, three mini-projects in the cultural sector by ASBLs from Mertert, Canach and Betzdorf were approved and awarded a grant totaling €11,313.

Dr. Martine Huberty from ASTA informed the LEADER delegates about their support options for farmers, winegrowers, fruit growers and gardeners in innovative cultivation trials or demonstration and research projects.
