On September 23, the Ministry of Agriculture, in the presence of the LEADER regions, organized a training course for the four new village developers who will in future accompany the rural communities in the development of their projects from the LEADER offices.

As part of village development, the Ministry of Agriculture has been supporting projects since 1989 with the aim of improving the quality of life of the rural population and strengthening economic development in Luxembourg's rural communities.

With the support of the village developers new project ideas should be created, citizen participation projects should be developed, cooperation should be established and village life should be animated. The tasks of the village developers build on the success of the national village development instrument and enable adapted support for rural communities.
