The Wëlle Westen LEADER region supports small-scale activities and projects in the areas of culture, sustainable development and/or the circular economy. The aim of this initiative is to promote mini-projects by associations, municipalities or committed groups. The focus is on financially manageable but innovative mini-projects initiated by local or regional players, municipalities or particularly committed voluntary organisations.

Each mini-project can be funded with a grant of up to 4,000 euros per project. Projects with a commercial or economic objective are not eligible for funding.

The emphasis is placed on small-scale projects that are modest in financial terms but innovative, initiated by local or regional actors, communities and associations that are strongly committed to volunteering.
