The managers of the neighbouring LEADER regions Miselerland (LU), Moselfranken & Merzig-Wadern (DE) met with Petra Steinmetz, the coordinator of their transnational LEADER project “Exchange across borders”, to advance the planning of the next NoperTrips, the establishment of thematic working groups and the organisation of specialist conferences.

Such formats are intended to bring people from Miselerland, Moselfranken and Merzig-Wadern, the actors living in the German-Luxembourg neighboring region and the experts working there into personal contact and exchange with one another. Visits to the "other side" can be organized for all of these people, "getting to know and understand each other better" can be simplified and cross-border exchanges of expertise and experience can be initiated.

These cross-border meeting and exchange formats are consistently used as a springboard for the initiation of new cross-border projects and initiatives in the German-Luxembourg neighborhood region.
