Éislek region

The LEADER bureau Éislek is located in the former town hall of Munshausen and is also entrusted with the “Europe Direct Éislek” contact point. 

55 LEADER members, including an intermunicipal syndicate (Sicler), 2 nature parks, 17 municipalities, 2 regional social services, 2 high schools and 31 associations from the fields of tourism, social affairs, youth, culture, nature and environmental protection, labour market and employment, and agriculture and forestry, developed inspiring and pioneering projects, including the "Qualitéitswanderregioun" (Luxembourgish for quality hiking region), the "Valeur des Parcs: experiencing and enjoying regionality in the Éislek region", and the "Youth Office".

Despite the distance between and within the cantons of Wiltz, Clervaux and Vianden (with 2 municipalities in the canton of Diekirch), there are common features that unite: they all belong to the "Éislek" region and are part of the Ardennes. The LEADER region covers approximately 28% of the country. 

The LEADER region Éislek currently includes 17 municipalities: Bauschleiden, Bourscheid, Clervaux, Esch-Sauer, Feulen, Goesdorf, Kiischpelt, Stauseegemeinde, Hosingen, Putscheid, Tandel, Ulflingen, Vianden, Weiswampach, Wiltz, Wintger and Winseler.
