More than 200 guests came to the Trifolion in Echternach to listen to and sing along to the concert by the inclusive choir of the Zitha Seniorie from Consdorf. Under the direction of choirmaster Robert Bodja, the singers (aged between 40 and 80) performed Luxembourgish, French, English and African songs. The choir members and the accompanying instrumental musicians delighted the audience and also visibly and audibly enjoyed their performance. The choir was created as part of the interregional LEADER project "All together Mëllerdall & Miselerland", organised by the Fondation EME and financed by the two LEADER regions of Mëllerdall and Miselerland.

In their welcoming speeches, Carole Hartmann (Mayor of the City of Echternach), Bob Bintz (Vice-President of LEADER Mëllerdall) and Dominique Hansen (President of the Fondation EME) emphasised that music is a universal language that everyone understands. This LEADER project embodies the typical and important values of Luxembourg, such as diversity, inclusion and participation.

In Miselerland, the final concerts of the inclusive choirs in the Jousefshaus in Remich (6 July) and the Institut St. Joseph in Betzdorf (16 July) are now coming up. Here, too, residents and staff from both centres have been rehearsing once a week since March this year together with people from outside the facilities - also on board: an always positive Robert Bodja, who has infected everyone with his passion for music.
